It has been about 3 months since I sent the last newsletter. I apologize, but it has been a crazy winter. We can now, hopefully, look forward to spring! Here is the latest- - - -
Ø This Friday, the 5th, is an in-service day for teachers; no school for students.
Ø Tuesday, March 9th, 7:00 p.m. at the district office: school board work session on the budget; it is open to the public
Ø Wednesday, March 10th is parent advisory at 2:00.
Ø Daylight savings time begins 2:00 AM Sunday, March 14th.
Ø Parent teacher conferences are FRIDAY ONLY, March 19th, 8-4. Notices will soon be coming home.
Ø The spring Scholastic Book Fair will be the week of March 15th; more information will be sent home soon.
Ø 2010-2011 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION will also be on Friday, March 19th.
Ø Early release Friday, March 26th.
Ø Spring break Monday, April 5th – 9th; return to school Monday the 12th. Friday, April 2nd is an in-service day for teachers (no school for students).
Ø Thank you for supporting the pizza fund-raiser. We made (profit) just over $1200. This will help purchase those “extra” items like art supplies, playground balls, etc.
Ø Theater for Youth will be Tuesday afternoon, March 23rd.
